Celebrate SFMade Week!
San Francisco is a city where movements are born and today is no exception! At a time when we hear so much about the importance of local manufacturing in a thriving economy, we want to share some exciting happenings taking place in the city right now. Did you know there is a growing manufacturing movement here in San Francisco? At the helm is SFMADE, a local non-profit who’s mission is to build and support a vibrant manufacturing sector in San Francisco. SFMade helps sustain member companies producing locally-made products, encourages entrepreneurship and innovation, and creates employment opportunities for a diverse local workforce. This week is SFMADE Week, a weeklong celebration featuring factory tours, RAMP IT UP - a speakeasy themed party with locally made artisan food and beverages on Wednesday night, and SFMade Day on Saturday, May 12, in which participating members (that’s us!) donate 10% of sales to SFMade. Follow the link to join the fun and support the maker movement!
